To train the spirit, the mind and the body together through Martial Arts to achieve a life of peace and excellence to better serve God and those around us.Train the Spirit is to: PrayTrain the Mind is to: Read and study the BibleTrain the Body is to: ExerciseWhen it comes to our bodies the Bible says in 1 Timothy 4:8 (NLT) that, ”Physical training is good, but training for Godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come”. It also says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NLT), ”Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body”.
- The color of the belt is an indication of the skill level of a Christian Taekwondo student. Belts can be gained by completing an exam. Each level will test an individual in the following skills:
1. Taekwondo skills
2. Scripture memorization
3. Books of the Bible
4. Children home rules
5. Adult home rules
You will be required to complete 16 classes in a three month period. At the end of that period, testing will occur to determine your belt level.
THURSDAYChildren’s Class (4-5 years old) All Belts – 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Children’s Class (6-13 years old) White-Blue – 4:00 p.m. to 4:50 p.m.
Children’s Class (6-13 years old) Sr. Blue – Red – 5:00 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.
Family Class Only-All Belts – 6:00 p.m. to 6:50 p.m.
14 + up Adult Class- All Belts – 7:00 p.m. to 7:50 p.m.
FRIDAY
Children’s Class (4-5 years old) All Belts – 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Children’s Class (6-13 years old) White-Blue – 4:00 p.m. to 4:50 p.m.
Children’s Class (6 -13 years old) Sr. Blue-Red – 5:00 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.
Family Class Only-All Belts – 6:00 p.m. to 6:50 p.m.
14+ up Adult Class All Belts – 7:00 p.m. to 7:50 p.m.
SATURDAY
Children’s Class (4-5 years old) All Belts – 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Children’s Class (6-13 years old) White-Blue – 9:00 a.m. to 9:50 a.m.
Children’s Class (6-13 years old) Sr. Blue-Red – 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.
14 + up Adult/Family Class-All Belts – 11:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
- $50 for each belt level plus a $20 suggested donatin for testing (which includes the belt, patches and boards)
