Family Dedication

Overview

You must register for the class.
It is a wonderful privilege to be a parent. Parenting comes with tremendous responsibilities. At Living Hope Church we want to give parents the opportunity to express the commitment they have made to their child before God in a public setting. While there is no Biblical requirement for us to dedicate our children, it is modeled in scripture.  When a family comes for dedication at Living Hope Church they are making a commitment to raise their child in a Godly family.

Your part

We ask parents to make four commitments:

1. Ground your child in God’s truth and grace.
2. Grow yourself spiritually.
3. Invest in your marriage.
4. Commit to raising your child at Church.

Parents will publicly acknowledge that their child is a gift from God and commit to raise their child in a godly manner and for God’s honor to the best of their ability. Our Family Dedication is also a time for extended family and friends, as well as the Living Hope Church family to commit to assist the parents in raising their child in a godly manner.

The Family Ministry team at Living Hope Church desires to partner with you on this wonderful journey with your children. We desire for you, the parents, to be equipped for the assignment heaven has trusted you with. You are the most influential person in your child’s life starting now! Once we receive your registration for family dedication we will mail you a packet that will help you prepare spiritually for this special occasion.
