The average child will spend over 1,000 hours every year in school and will spend less than 50 hours in church. The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years. The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child. What happens at home, in many ways, is more important than what happens at church! Our main goal is to partner with parents.
This is our strategy:
1. Orange is a color that symbolizes integration.
Orange is a brilliant merger between two more traditional influences – red and yellow. Something radical happens when we understand the value of partnership. We have become intentional about alignment. We are leaving behind our silo approach and we are joining forces to create an impact.
K.I.C.K. is partners with parents.
K.I.C.K. is partners with the youth department.
2. Orange is a color that suggests change.
Orange is the primary color for autumn, a season of transition. K.I.C.K. and Frontline are in a season of transition to create authentic community and to mobilize the next generation to be God’s church.
We believe that our children’s ministry and our youth ministry need to work together. We also believe that what happens at home can be more important than what happens at church.
